JOB TITLE: CLINICIAN
Earn $72,000 to up to $76,000 annually, plus a minimum of 120 hours paid vacation, 12 paid sick days, and 10 paid holidays. We offer medical packages, a 401K, and a $5,000 bonus every 6 months.
Clinicians will provide short-term, trauma-sensitive treatment planning and delivery for all UC (unaccompanied children). The Clinician will also provide an assessment to these assigned youth while maintaining professionalism in all areas, including confidentiality.
What we’re looking for:
● Master's Degree in social work or related field
● LMSW / LMHC preferred; Eligibility for limited permit required
● Bilingual English-Spanish required; English writing proficiency with the ability to communicate in Spanish to youth and families
● Interest in addressing or treating trauma using strength-based, cognitive-behavioral, and trauma-informed treatment approaches
● Ability to access and use various means of transportation and walk distances between office locations
● Commitment to Cayuga Centers’ mission
● Strong proficiency with completing the administrative components of treatment (case documentation) required ● Ability to handle confidential material in a responsible manner
What you’ll do:
● Provide individual therapy and group counseling to youth.
● Administer required behavioral and mental health assessments for youth.
● Carry a caseload of up to twelve youth, ages ranging from 3-17.5 years.
● Coordinate services for each youth in conjunction with a case manager.
● Provide therapy during traditional and non-traditional hours including weekends and evenings.
● Participate in 24-hour on-call phone availability for program youth and foster parents. On-call assignments are one week in duration and are assigned every 4-6 weeks.
● Attend weekly clinical team meetings.
● Attend weekly staffing meetings.
● Attend weekly group therapy sessions.
● Provide record-keeping and documentation for all clinical activities (case documentation).
Schedule and hours: Exempt.
● Regular hours entail 9:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Must be flexible to meet program needs.
● Evenings and weekends may be required.
● 24-hour on-call phone availability during the assigned on-call week
