Position Announcement | Clinical Psychology PsyD Program*
The Clinical Psychology PsyD program at Ponce Health Sciences university is recruiting assistant professors for half- time positions in the PHSU San Juan University Center, to start on July 15, 2020. Candidates will provide 20 hours per week to the PsyD program. It is the program’s interest to recruit candidates from diverse backgrounds, including ethnic, racial, faith, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status and (dis)ability.
Candidates should have the following training and experience:
1. PsyD or PhD degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited institution
2. Licensed or licensable to practice Psychology in PR or who have approved the EPPP
3. Formation in the following areas preferred:
a. Psychopharmacology
b. Supervision and Consultation
c. Statistics and Research Methods
4. Clinical experience preferred
5. Bilingual English/Spanish
Besides teaching, core faculty members of the program usually perform the following duties, among others:
· Dissertation supervision and mentorship
· Clinical supervision to students in practicum and internship
· Academic advising
